A classic teapot, made from a Coromandel Clay blend & finished with my signature Tī Kōuka ash glaze. Each handle & trivet is handmade by ZIZOU.
This teapot holds 3 cups worth of water, we measured each vessel together one Sunday afternoon while sharing Christmas cake at my home in Island Bay.
I approached Kat looking for another maker to collaborate with ~ a weaver working slowly and carefully. I’ve admired Kat’s work for a long time, beautifully crocheted bags from hand dyed raffia. The result is a completely handmade product, each with its own personality.
